point lead in the first quarter 24-1 13. In the second quarter Bristol narrowed the lead to two points 3432. Bristol returned fired up in the second half and took a seven point third quarter lead, but the game was far from over. In the fourth quarter Milford began a steady chipping at Bristol’s lead. The tenor of excitement rose as three Bristol boys fouled out. With less than a minute remaining Mil-
ford’s John Gerber tied the score at 69 apiece. Then with only three seconds left Nielson sank his fatal blow. The Trojans turned in a fine aU around game against a talented Bristol quintet. John Gerber of Milford led both teams by scoring 25 points. Tom Holderread followed closely with 20 to give the Trojans a strong one-two punch. Marion Groves added 10 more to the cause. Nielson led Bristol by scoring 22 points, 10 of which came in the final quarter. Milford will be seeking to even
