MINOR ACCIDENT AT McFARREN STATION A minor accident occurred last I Thursday evening at 7:25 when a 1962 Ford Falcon driven by D. G. Seely of Milford backed into a Ford owned by Ernest Bailey of Milford at the McFarren Service station. No one was injured in the accident. Damage to the Bailey car was estimated at near SSO. flour; 2 teaspoons quality instant coffee; % teaspoon salt; 1 cup shortening; 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar; 1 egg; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 cup (6-ounce package) glazed chocolate chips; % cup chopped walnuts. Measure sifted flour, add instant coffee and salt, and sift together. Cream shortening and brown sugar together until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; blend thoroughly. Add the flour and mix well. Evenly spread in a 15x10x1Inch pan. Sprinkle chips and nuts over the top. Bake in a slow oven (325°F.) 20 minutes. Cool. Cut' into 1%x2-inch bars. Makes about 8 dozen*
