Tips For Better Golf —■ By Pro Don Byrd Wawasee Golf Course
The stance should be somewhat square to the intended line of flight—possibly a little closed, with the right foot drawn only slightly back to facilitate a free hip turn by setting the right hip » in position to turn out of the way freely. Your feet should be at least as far apart a»s<your shoulders and Xyour knees flexed so you have a solid balance and connection the ground so you may use body and foot work together. The ball should be left fit center —about off the left heel for the driver and very slightly more toward center for each succeeding club due to loft and length of club. There isn’t a greatdeal of loft on the wood clubs, anayou must be careful to level club headarc so as not torfti4kesax>’’call on the down swing, which would cause the ball to be driven into the ground because there wasn’t enough loft left on the club to get the ball airborn. DEAF MAN PERFECTS SMALLEST HEARING AID J|| PLYMOUTH, Ind. (Special) — A remarkable midget aid has been perfected by a man who has been hard of heagM for nearly 10 years. B This small aid has no dangling cords or separate ■ ting units and is the most revolutionary product ever to appear on the market for the hard of hearing. ' It is especially made for those people who can hear, but not understand. This new hearing instrument provides “ear-level” hearing with the wearer picking up speech, sounds, television and radio at his ear rather than a transmitter located in the wearer’s clothing. Due to he use of 4 transistors, the user cost is extremely low - V and the intrument weighs approximately J 4 ounce. It is about 1 the size of a sewing thimble. i Write to: George L.
