Carol Koble looked as pretty as a picture the other day. She hopes to have twin girls this time, and we hope so, too, if she does. Another monthly smorgasbord at the Wawasee Golf Club with the Driftwood Room the scene of the gala affair. A smooth 4-piece band playing for the dancing, and it was worth twice the price. There are many beautiful paintings hung there, with our own local artists competing favorably with well-known, and even famous contributors. The Madonna and Child by Gerrie Smith is very appealing. Fletcher Marsh is doing a marvelous job, and deserves a lot of credit for this accomplishment. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Beer and Bob, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beer, Jr., and family, all of Milford, and Mr. aad Mrs. Ted Beer of Fort Wayne were Sunday evening dinner guests of Mrs. Matilda Beer and daughter, Miss Esther, of r 1 Milford. Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Laudeman and Max Alan of Urbana were Mrs. Irvin Coy of Milford, Mr. and Mrs. David Clem and Bruce of Goshen, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Sparklin of Syracuse lake. Following dinner the group attended the play, “The Merry Widow,” at the Wagon Wheel Playhouse at Warsaw. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Wallace and three children of Milford spent last week with relatives in Wisconsin. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Ray Yarrington at Augusta, parents of Mrs. WaUace, and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Wallace at Barron, uncle and aunt of Mr. Wallace. The Wallaces also toured the museum of woodcarving located at Spooner, and drove along the north shore drive of Lake Superior and into Canada.

Mr. and Mrs. Noah Clauss of Mia ni, Fla., who are spending the next few weeks at Waubee lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Homan of Milford had dinner Sunday evening at the Wawasee restaurant in Syracuse in celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Clauss’ wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Young and family of Milford are home frcm a four-day visit with their da ighter and sister, Mrs. Joe Sunthi mer, and Mr. Sunthimer at Vermillion, S. D. Susan Sunthimer accompanied the Youngs to Milford where she will remain for two weeks.

ATLANTA, GA., FAMILY VISITS RELATIVES IN AREA Mr. and Mrs. David Elder and sons, Bill and Mike, of Atlanta, Ga., left yesterday for their home after a week’s visit with relatives in this area, among them being Mrs. Elder’s mother, Mrs. Lillian Custer, at Pierceton, and her brothers, Raymond, Myrtus, and Stanley Custer, and sisters, Mrs. Snowden Dierks and Mrs. Charlotte Mary Cooper.
