Miss Mary Lucille Ramer became the bride of Larry Lee Kirkdorffer in a wedding taking place on Friday evening, July 20, in the Union Center Church of the Brethren. Rev. Israel Gordon officiated at the double ring ceremony. He was assisted by Rev. Oscar Fike. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ramer of r 3 Goshen and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marlond Kirkdorffer of r 1 Milford. As the 300 guests were seated by Steven Davis, Carl Ramer, Phillip Kirkdorffer and Philip Yoder, nuptial selections were provided by Miss Karen Brandenberry, organist, and Dean Ramer, vocalist. Baskets of yellow and white gladioli, two seven-branch candelabra, palms and yellow pew bows formed the church decorations. Bride In Silk Lace For her wedding dress the bride chose a floor-length gown of silk lace and nylon tulle. The fitted bodice of the gown featured a scalloped sabrina neckline high- ~ lighted with pearls and iridescent sequins and long sleeves ending in points at the wrist. The full bouffant skirt was fashioned with nylon tulle and lace panels on the front of the gown and rows of lace and ruffles forming a brush train in the back. She wore a fingertip veil of French illusion held by a Swedish crown and carried a white Bible topped with yellow roses and streamers. Mrs. Dean Ramer served as matron of honor while Miss Peggy Kirkdorffer served as bridesmaid, Rhonda Schrock as flower girl, and Kevin Ramer as ring bearer.

Ronald Kirkdorffer served as best man. The bride’s attendants were gowned alike in street-length dresses of yellow nylon lace over taffeta with matching net headpieces. They carried white lace fans with yellow carnations. The flower girl wore a floral headband and carried a nosegay of yellow carnations. Receptions Follows Mesdames Floyd Brandeberry, Elmer Weaver, Ronald Kirkdorffer, Steven Davis, Guy McClure, Kermit Brown, Phillip Kirkdorffer and Miss Lynne Broadbent, assisted at the reception which followed in the church soical room. Miss Sharon Weaver attended the guest book. Mrs. Eugene Stutzman, Mrs. Steven Kaufman and Mrs. Keith Leinbach presided at the gift table. After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains and North Carolina, the couple will make their home in New Paris. The bride is a graduate of Wakarusa high school and is employed by the South Bend Medical Foundation as a laboratory technician at the Goshen General hospital. The bride- ' groom, a New Paris high school graduate, is engaged in farming.

Reverend J. Ross Richey officiated at the Monday evening service' which united Miss Vicki Ruth Cecil and Richard Lloyd Kowallik in marriage at the Methodist church in Syracuse. The couple recited vows before an altar decorated with pink and white gladioli and pompons. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Cecil and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kowallik, all of Syracuse. • ! Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a street length dress of silk organza and lace. Her nose-tip veil fell from a bandeau of satin and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink rosebuds on her white Bible. Miss Jane Cecil attended her sister as maid of honor. as best man, and the guests were escorted by Dick Combs. Mrs. Joe Longenecker of North Webster presented organ music during the ceremony. Guests were received immediately following the service at the home of the bride’s parents. Miss Linda Cecil and Miss Ann Kowallik, sisters of the couple, and Miss Pamela Mauk, cousin of the bride, assisted with the serving of the 50 guests present. After a brief trip to northern Michigan the couple will make their home at Papakeechie lake, near Syracuse. Mr. and Mrs. Don Cecil, grandparents of the bride, will hold open house at their home at Dewart Lake on Sunday, July 29, from 2 to 5 p. m., to which the friends of the newly married couple are cordially invited.
WEDDING VOWS SPOKEN Mrs. Sally Bemiece Rentfrow and Albert Emory Dodson, both of Syracuse, were united in marriage Tuesday evening, July 10, by Rev. Robert Perkins of the Milford Church of the Brethren. The wedding was held in the minister’s home with attendants Mr. and Mrs. Lester Shoemaker of Syracuse and a few close friends present. The bride wore a dress of aqua with white accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Dodson are residing in Syracuse and are the owners of the Sportsman’s Bar. Worship Hour Held Sunday At New Salem Church “Love Him All You Little Children” was sung by the Anglin twins, Shay and Renee, Sunday forenoon during the worship hour at New Salem church.
