On June 1, Albert Emory Dodson of Syracuse was arrested by officer Miller for disregarding the stop light at Main and Huntington streets. Fine and costs totaled $18.75 in JP Doty’s court. On June 9, Chief Enyeart aud officer Miller also with state and county police investigated the break-in at the Pacer station. Entrance was gained by -forcing open a side door. Approximately sl7 was taken. On June 16, Chief Enyeart investigated a property damage accident at Railroad and South Huntington streets. Thomas Firestone of Syracuse drove his car into the path of a car driven by Clarence Eugene Metzger of Goshen. Total approximate damage was $165. On June 19, Chief Enyeart investigated a property damage accident at the 100 block of West Main street. Oscar E. Approximate total damage was $75.' On June 23, Hubert McClain of Syracuse was arrested by officer Personette for exceeding speed limit on Railroad Ave. He received fine and costs totaling $22.75. On June 23, officer Miller investigated a three-car property damage accident at the 900 block of South Huntington street. A car driven by Kenneth Howes of Syracuse struck two cars parked at the curb. Owners of the cars are Hubert Dunnthans and Steven Lee, both of Syracuse. The total approximate damage was SI,OOO. Howes was cited to JP Gills court for driving under the influence and without a drivers license by trooper Meeks. PYTHIAN CLUB HOLDS PICNIC A delicious picnic dinner was served to thirteen members and two guests, Mrs. James Hamman of Syracuse and Mrs. R. C. Buster of Paris Crossing, of the Syracuse Pythian club Thursday afternoon, June 28, at the home of Mrs. John Auer. Mrs. Estelle Swartz assisted the. hostess. Following the dinner, a short business meeting was held and games were played with prizes going to Mrs. Orlie Brown and Mrs. Elva Connell. The door prize was awarded to Mrs. Hamman. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Nell Sloan with Mrs. Clarence Snyder as cohostess. HOME BUILDERS CLASS MEETS The Homebuilders class of the Syracuse Church of the Brethren met Saturday evening in the church’s social room for a carry-in supper. Following the meal, class president Max Simon conducted the business meeting and Pastor Ralph Wagoner led in devotions. For entertainment, a Bible quiz was presented by the Pastor. BETHEL WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP MEETS Mrs. Noble W. Neff of Milford presented the Bible study lesson last Thursday evening at Bethel Church of the Brethren Women’s Fellowship meeting held at the Milford church. A short business meeting ,was conducted by the president, Mrs. Neal Cory. Mrs. Arthur Gilbert gave the devotions. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Raymond Hoover, Mrs. Jim Chambers and Ben Kaiser, all of Milford.

JOHN REASONER Heads Webster Lions Club NORTH WEBSTER — John R. Reasoner was installed as the new president of the North Webster Lions club at the Thursday, June 14, meeting at the ZM and M case. Incoming district governor Fred Anglin of Leesburg (now attending Lions International canvention at Nice, France) was the installing officer. Lion Reasoner succeeds Paul Royer. The change-over takes place July 1. Ted Speicher Celebrates 12 th Birthday Ted Speicher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Speicher of r 2 Milford, celebrated his 12th birthday Sunday at a cook-out at his home. Following the cook-out everyone enjoyed playing miniature golf and a movie. Those attending were Dave, Rodney and Kent Beer, Randy Mikel, Bob and Fred Hoerr, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Beer, Susie and Judy, and Gary Roecker of Morton, 111., who is spending the summer in Milford.
