Many Milford Seniors Honored After Graduation Friday Evening
Several members of the Milford high school graduating class were honored at parties and receptions held after commencement exercises Friday evening. Brooks Robert Brooks was honored by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Brooks, when family members and friends gathered at the Brooks home to congratulate him. Cookies, ice cream and coffee were served. Zimmerman Friends and relatives honored Miss Mary Zimmerman at a party at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Zimmerman. Cookies, ice cream and coffee , were served. Knisley Lynn Knisely was honored at a reception in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Knisely at Dewart Lake. Refreshments of ' pie alamode and coffee were ( served to his many relatives and ( friends. Rapp Miss Janice Rapp was honored at a reception held in the home of 1 her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Rapp. Friends and relatives were served cookies, ice cream, coffee ! and soda pop. Rarick A cake, decorated in the colors of the class of ’62, with ice cream and coffee were served to the many friends and relatives of Max Rarick at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dane Rarick. Written on the blue and white cake were the words, “Congratulations Max.” - * Dewart Friends and relatives honored Miss Marcia Dewart at a party at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Dewart. Refreshments and snacks were served by Mrs. Miller. Morehouse “At a family gathering held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Morehouse, their daughter, Corinne, was guest of honor. Cake, decorated with a boy and girl graduate and the words “Congratulations Class of ’62” on the top, punch, nuts mints were served to the 30 persons present. Roderick Relatives honored Tom Roderick at a party in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Roderick. Refreshments of ice cream, cake and snacks were served. Schlotterback At a family gathering held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schlotterback, their daughter, Cynthia Ann, was guest of honor. Cake, ice cream, soda pop and coffee were served as refreshments. Biller Greg Biller was honored by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Biller, when family members and friends gathered at the Biller home to congratulate him. Baumgartner Ronald Baumgartner was the guest of honor at a reception held in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Baumgartner. Coffee, punch, nuts and mints were served with a cake decorated in the class colors of blue and white and red roses and the words “Best Wishes and . McKibbin -’Tusing Charles McKibbin and Alan Tusing were honored at a reception held in the home of Alan’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Tusing, Jr., with the assitance of Charles’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold McKibbin. A cake, decorated in blue and white with the class motto and red roses, was served to the fifty guests present from a table decorated with white candles and red roses. Punch, nuts and mints were also served. Cory Mr. and Mrs. Neal Cory entertained in honor of their son, Dennis, at a party. Eleven relatives and friends were present. ATTEND FUNERAL Mr. and Mrs. Michael Reuter of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Graff of Goshen attended the funeral Tuesday of Albert Boehning, 79, at Francesville. Mr. Boehning died at 9:45 a. m. Sunday of a heart attack. He was a cousin to Mrs. Graff and Mr. Reuter.

Miss Stieglitz is a graduate of Goshen college and Purdue university and is presently attending Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Calif. Mr. Schiller is a graduate of the school of engineering, University of Toronto, and will be a senior at Fuller this fall. Their betrothal was announced earlier at an informal party at which the women of Fuller Seminary were guests. An August wedding is planned.

Portland Ave., Syracuse and Army Pvt. Ronald E. Howe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice J. Howe, North Webster, recently participated in Exercise Red Arrow. Newcomer and Howe were with other personnel from the Ist Division’s sth Infantry in the exercise, a 30-day series of tactical field training maneuvers at Fort Riley, Kan. Exercise Red Arrow, designed to _■ maintain the “Big Red One” Division in combat ready condition, featured artillery, motar and small arms firings and combat training maneuvers against an “Agressor” force. Following commencement, an informal party was held honoring Miss Miller with the above named as guests. Mrs. Herman Huey and daughter Barbara returned to Syracuse Saturday after spending the winter in Gulfport, Mississippi.
