Bl'llGLAltY. — The store-room of Mr. M. C. Hartley was burglariously entered on Monday night last, by one or more persons unknown. A* far as ascertained, the amount of their plunder ia something near 8200 in value, consisting chicflly of cloths, silks, and other dress goods.— We are left to surmise the probable time of the occurrence, as nothing was known of the affair until the following morning. An entrance was effected by cutting a pane of glass from the window in the rear, and removing the iron bar front the door, after which, ingress was easily obtained into the main room. Our citizens should look well to the protection of their property, in view of the frerjuent repetition of these midnight depredations. Buyers who study well their own interests will find that no harm can arise from an examination of the records; and those who have property of any one or tho several kinds for sale cannot possibly bo harmed by having it registered, for not only do the records give a (full do cription of your property, hut also your own pricu and terms.
