The Camel The Cause of that Hump. In a private note to us the writer. who is evidently curious in natural history, asks us to explain the cause of the protuberance on the camel's hack.—• We arc ashamed to confess that our know lodge of the subject, which is derived from a sinirlc reading of Goldsmith's Animat ed Nature, in onr school days, forbids our doing so in anything like a satisfactory manner.
