The singer fest came very near being a failure at the Nivena church on the account of a f« from Niven's wanting to rus the whole thing. If they wanted to act the shoat because they bad big years they could go as far as Cottrell and Stuthard was concerned. In the first place the match was gotten up by Cottrell and Stuthard. They got permission of the church because the 8ohool House was to small. They elected all their officers, even to the committee of ladies that wa« to bake the cakes.
