To Be Immediately Besomed and Finished by the Contractors' Bonds* men at a Loss of $100,000.

From the Indianapolis Times. 'I E. F. Gobel, one of the bondsmen ol the contractors of the new State House, and W. D. Howard, son of the contractor, were in the city yesterday and held quite along private conference with the Commissioners. Although the two gentldtaen did all in their power to keep their visit a secret, a Times man learned of their presence in the city, and is therelore enabled to give the substace of what will be done at the meeting to-morrow. Mr. Gobel informed the commissioners that tha bondsmen bad determined toful fill the contract of Messrs: Howard & Dtnig, although it will be at a loss lothem of about $100,000. The bondsmen are, however, of the opinion that the next Legislature will come to their assistance with an appropriation at least enongh to cover tbeir deficit It is understood that Mr. Gabel, who is a practical builder, will come to this city and superintend the work and reduce all expenses as much as possible. If this is done Mi. Denig will more than likely drop out of the work. Mr. Gobel, so it if stated, holds that the, only chance for the bondsmen to come out anywhere near even is for the wages of laborers to go down instead of up. It is understood that the commissioners will on Thursday accept the proposition of the bondsmeb, and on Monday next a large force of men will be put to work on the building, the construction of which will be pushed forward as mnch as possible before cold weather begins. The commissioners feel that a heavy burden has been lifted from their shoulders by the action of the bondsmen.

THE ELEVENTH INDIANA.

It Holds a Reunion at Tipton Yesterday.

From Friday's Daily, .V

The survivors of the old 11th Indiana regiment ol volunteers held a reunion at Tipton yesterday. A large number were present. This is the regiment of which Gen. Lew Wallace, now Minister to Turkey, was Cjloml. Officers for the ensuing year were elected and duly installed, as follows: President, Thomas B. Wood, Franklin vice-president, Edwin W. Thayer, Greenfield, Seoretary, William Web iter. Orawfordsville trea3urer, Leroy M. Mains, Seymour. Major James R. Ross was made custodcan of the colore David Wilson, W. 8. Hubbard George F. McGinnis, J. C. Elstum and L. M. Mains were chosen as executive committee and John Ramsey, Will O. David and John W. Coons a committee on resolutions.

After a good dinner the veterans listened to an address by General George F. McGinnis on the work done by Wallace's division at Sbiloh. His address handled with out gloves the falsehoods of "Boswell ." Badeau's lile of Grant in which is shown, as the eddress says, how utterly venomous, untruthful and unscrupulous man can become in his efforts to applaud defend and relieve fro-n responibility his friends and to attack and defame others whom he desires to hold responsible for the short comings and mistakes ot others."

This address was followed by the reading of a letter frctn General Wallace in which he replies to the accusation contained in Badeu's book glorifying Grant and charging him with the disasters on the first day at Shiloh in losing his road and failing to obey orders. The reply is/pecific and shows that the disasters happened before he received orders to move his division and that he moved promptly wheq they did come. The facts in his letter were corroborated by Major James R. Ross, of bis staff, and by others present and Badeu was thoroughly answered.

REMARKABLE PROCEEDING.

The Efforts to Prevent an Indianapolis Young Han From Getting Harried.

From Friday's Daily.

There was a remarkable proceeding at Indianapolis yesterday, Mrs. Henrietta Hubbard filed a protest to prevent Rudolphus E. Johnson from getting a marriage license, it being alleged that he was weak mentally, and not a fit person to be married. The young man is desirous of marrying aMiss Ella Davis, and for some inexplicable reason her father is very anxious that the marriage should take place. Yesterday Johnson applied for a marriage license, but the county clerk declined to issue it as it was very evident 'hnt he was not altogether responsible for his actions. Mrs. Hubbard says she has had charge of Johnson since he was a baby and they claim to be actuated by n-» selfish motives in opposing bis marriage, only they say he is insane, and if asked could not tell what state he lived in, who was governor, or even what is the name ot Mrs. Hubbard who is his aunt. Yesterday evening A. F. Potts, her attorney, filed a petition for restraining order to prevent the clerk from issuing a license to Johnson. The subsequent proceeding will be for a deman for a permanent injunction. What is most remarkable about the case is that Davis should make such a determined effort to get Johnson married to his daughter, and for this he declines to give any explanation.

SKIN HUMORS

Wonderful Cure of a Lad 12 Years Old, Who For 8 Yean, From the ,2op of His Head to His Ankles, Was One Hass of Scabs.

tw-u

My son, a lad twelve rears of age, was afflicted with the worst lorm of Eczema for a period ol eight years. So virulent was it uiat from u.e top of his liead to wiiliin a few Inches of bis auk lei be was one mast of scabs, which refused to yield to any treatment that was attempted.

Every remedy tuat was suggested by friends or phsiciuns was tried in rain Allopathy, homoeopathy, herbs, roots, saltwater baths, flax«ecd poultices, soaps, ointmtnts, and in short everytblug ibal could be done to eradicate vne disorder seemed only to aggravate it, and the child's life became a burden to him, and the expense of the various experiments was a constant drain upon onr resouj ces.

My wife, reading the advertisement of the Caticura Remedies in one of the daily papers, resolved to make one more attempt at a cure. [The disease was now encroaching upon his face, and seemed incurable.) I gave a reluctant consent to the proposal, and an interview was sought with a famous lady physician of New York, who made a most thorough examination of the case, and promise! a cure without the least hesitation by the use of your Culii-ura Kerned ts. In one week th le was a marked change the rawandangty sores began to grow Jiaie and along the outer edges scaled off, and as time wore on they began to disappear enti:ely, until at the present writing the only vestige is one small spot upon the forearm, scarcely visible and fast disaupeariug.

Thus after eight years or expense aud anxiety, we have the luteuse satisfaction of see ing (he child's kin as fair and smooth as it was before this dreadful cutaneous disorder atta:ked him.
