Anniversary.
On last Evening the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Pulliam met at their residence on north Thirteenth street to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their marriage, and a large crowa was present. A nice supper was^served and whom Pulliam were the recipient of many presents among them a handsome Secretary's desk. A pleasant evening was enjoyed by all. R. P. Davis made the presentation speech, which was responded to by W. H. Pulliam.

The Wheat Crop.
A. 8. Holloway, of Prairie Creek township, on 20 acres raised 338 bushels of Fultz wheat, machine measure—an average oi 10bushels.
John K. Ring, of Linton township, on eight aires raised 108 bushels of Fultz wheat—an average of over twelve bushels to the acre.
David Cox, of Fayette township, on 54 acres, raised 762 bushels of wheat, an average of nearly 15 bushels It was in three fields on different farms, two being red and one fultz, the latter yielding much the better.
J. W. Overpeck & Sons, of Olter Creek township, on ninety-two acres raised 1305 bushels of fultz wheat—an average of ovei 14 bushels.
C. H. Taylor, of Linton township, brought up to the city to-day 14 bushels of apples picked from one tree and got for them 55 cents per busbel making $7.70 from one tree and there are still six or seven bushels more on the tree.

Benjamin All, an old and esteemed citizen of Pierson Tow®ehip, died yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at his home in the seventieth year of his age. The funeral took place at 2 o'clock this afternoon, the remains being interred in tlie Hull graveyard.

MAYOR'S COURT.
Odelia Bemdt, who was arrested yesterday by Policemen Clark, Patrick and Hogan, in a maudlin state of intoxication, was released on promise to go to her home at Lockport. Her little four year old boy was with ber when she was arrested, and as thtre was no other place to put him he was locked up in the cell with her. The woman is the widow of the man Berndt, who committed suicide in the north end of town some time ago.

Obituary.
Isaac Bryant died Monday near Greenfield Bayou. He was an old resident of the county and had many friends in this city. He was buried "yesterday. Bryant claimed that his dead wife, who passed away four or five years ago, came dail}- to his bedside during the last few weeks ef his illness and converted with him, telling him he was going to die.
