The Savings Baak.

For some time past the sayings bank* which is one of the institutions of which Terre Hauteans may well be proud, has been contemplating purchasing apiece of property aod erecting a building thereon for its owu accommodation." This morning the purchase was concluded of the lot on the southwest corner of Sixth and Ohfo streets. The lots has seventy feet front on Ohio street and extends back to the alley. On this it is the ptitpoSQ of the managers of the bank to erect in the spring a fine building. The bank itself will occupy the corner room on the first floor and there will be other rooms oh the first floor and all of the second story for rent. It is the purpose of the directors of the hank to erect a fine substantial building which will be a credit to itself and to Terre Haute and from the rental of which the revenue ot the bank maybe increased. The deposits at the savings bank have been so constantly increasing that it is one of the largest as it has always been one of the safest and best managed institutions in Terre Haute and in new and more commodious quarters there is every reason tor expecting a still further increase of its prosperity,
