for. Patterson meant what ho said. The following tribute to a well known and meritorious preperation will be rcadwith pleasure by all who arc suffering from pulmonry complaints themselves, or have friends afflicted.

I hereby ciretify that my boy, ten years of age, was taken sick with typhoid fever followed by congestion of the lungs. Dr. Dyer, an emiuent physician of this .place stated that he thought the boy would run down with Quick Consumption. A Mr. Patterson told me that Coe's Cough Bal sani was curing similar cases, and advised me to purchase it. When I car ried it home, my wife laughed at me but I knew that Mr. Patterson meant just what he said, and I determined to try it. Two bottles effectually cured him, so that now he is as tough and healthy as any body. Huntington Conn. Aug. 29 1866

J. LYMAN Dormant New Haven, Conn. Nov. 18 1879. My children were all seriously troubled with Whooping Cough We treated them with regular prescribed medicines, witlijjHomeopathic Specialties &c., with but little or no relief until we gave they Coe's Cough Balsam which immediately assisted nature to restore them to good health. I truly believe it the best medicine in the world for Whooping Cough. J. II. POST, Ag't Charter Oak Life ns

The agjnt for the Louisville lottery at this place received the following letter from the managers at Louisville yesterday afternoon: "LorrsvTi,i,K, Kv., Nov. 30.—Tickct No. 99.335 drew $30,000: No. 16,095 drew $10,000,*'and No. 18..S67 drew $5,000 at the drawing to day."

The aggravating tiling is that the agent sent those very tickets back to Louisville at 9 o'clock*yesterday by express". They had not then "reached their destination. The managers of the lottery telegraphed here announcing their winning, under the impression that the tickets had been sold.
