STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION. T'nt state Board of Education met again yesterday and concluded its busi-j-.css High School charters were granted for Newburg and Aurora, anu the petition for one at Attica was rejected. A charter was granted for a High School at Muncif, upon condition that papers were tiled in proper manner. Thes-e schools are for the purpose of preparing pupils for admission to the State Uni versity.
A circular to teachers, with refert n:e to the state license, wilt be about the same thin as that of last year. Examinations are to be divided into two parts: the first to show that teachers have gained the neccssarv reputation as teachers, and, second, to relate to their scholastic knowledge.
