Memphis, Sept. 10.—At an early hour this morning rain commenced falling, and has kept up incessantly. Up to noon 59 deaths have been reported, making 115 since yesterday noon.

My appeal for covered vehicles for our volunteer medical corps has not met with a single responsife. -1 have supplied them with rubber coats to protect them from the storm that has continued during tbe entire day. It was the best that I could do. New calls for help have had to go unheeded to-day. I am distressed to report of our volunteer medical corps stricken dowu with fever, Dra. Phillips, the artist, from Paris, 111., was here, in consultation with our two K. of P. lodges regarding the intended new arrangements and artistic scenic effects for the Castle Hall of this order, over Mckeen's bank, corner of Main and Fifth street.
