I lere t'.ie exhibit is first-class. In fact '"iie display, though not so large of course, is superior to the foreign show 01 .rriage-. at lite Centennial. The tops to the bu gk'-'. are put on in much better style than either French or German carriages. The work moreover, is, thoroughont, much better leather buggv tops, are an American invention. Mcs.sre Wildy and 1'otlis have a crrriage on exhibition which is a per faction itself. The juries thought so to, it seems, as a red ribbon adorns it. The fiim has also taken the premium on a Pnietou.

Messrs Cantrell Jackson and Harrison, the enterprising Cherry street carriage men have also taken two premiums, one for an open buggy, a little prano box beauty and one for a top buggy. A. J. Welsh has a good exhibit.

TILL: I'ltl'ir AND I'l.owr.R Depart nitn is tolerable free. C. D. Mason, of the Wabash valley, twenty oie miles south of town has a splendid show ot apples.

Mr. William Patrick has taken off the laurel-no hii Spiigbergen apples. Mrs. |. O. Jdiu and Mrs. Dr. Moo.e have as amatears distinguished themselves.

Mrs. Jones has taken the special premium offered 'oy the llorticnltural society tor cut ilowcrs.

Ileinl Bros, have of course taken off all le "reds" 0:1 hot house plaets. The MAIN :n.i)iNG, hv which we mean the miscellaneous department is weil filled with the product, ions 1 if the loom, the sewing machine the shop, tii:'factory, the brush

In her exhibit may be mentioned beautifully embroidered chemise, child- die*', ottoman cover and some won ted cmhroiderv. Miss Carrie Me vers has specimens of knitting Miss Carrie Drake of silk embroidery Misses Carr- Monger and Emma Patrick of wasestaud mats and Miss Lena jihrenl'.aHt fancy \v6rste.i work the spi.citner.s of drawing are conclusion proof in themselves of the tallest in that line possessed by some of our youthful. show is first cla-s in many respects. It is headed bv the premium baby Jessie 13yard. Tins 1 ittle classification joke has afforded much amusement.

Mr. llamond of Greencastlc has an excellent show of tnoaoughbred cattle. r. G. W. Sparks of this city and Mr. Stubbs of Ferrel station have also some good cattlc.

The award of premiums in this depat tment was not made until late—the afternoon, and cannot appear here today.
