Hsnnebbky and Landers in Jail! Edward Hennessey and (ieorge Landers who are accused of having killed Alvin Hay ford were arrested in Kansas a few days since. They wero brought to this city Saturday evening and lodged in jail. Their eaptor William C. Barnes Marshal of Lawrence, Kansas, gets a reward of five hundred dollars ofiered by tho city Council. Hennessey was known out there by tbe name of Ed. Turner. He has employed Baird & Cruft to defend them. The Grand Jujy having already found an indictment againta both Hennessy and Landers, we presume they will have a hearing soon in the Criminal Court.

Indianapolis, May 4.—The municipal election here to-day resulted in the eldo tion of the entire Republican ticket by 300 to 500 majority, jWith a majority of tbe City Council.

In Lafayette the Democratic ticket was elected. In Richmond and Columbus the Republicans elect their ticket, the latter a Republican gain.
