January a man went through the lower part of this county and Sullivan county, representing himself as the agent of the Mclntyre Gift Enterprise, selling tickets at one dollar each, or twelve for ten dollars. A novel feature of this drawing was, that every ticket was sure to draw a prize, none less than fifty cents, while there was a chance of drawing thousands of dollars.
