That Quaker Mob Again.—William Pickard, a venerable member of the Society of Friends, who resides in Bloomingdale, Parke county, called on us yesterday. He assured us that the entire story of the Journal about the "Quaker mob,'' at Annapolis, is as every one knew it was, a sheer falsehood. He says the Rockville jRepublican was mistaken, however, in saying there was not a Quaker at the Democratic meeting. There was one Friend present, Solomon Hunt, an elder ly gentleman, and one of the best citizens of the county. Friend Pickard further assures us that every legal voter in the county, who belongs to the Society, will go to the polls this year and that every Friend there, and elsewhero. will vote the Republican ticket. Grand Republican Rally.—One

of

the most enthusiastic meetings of the campaign was held at Rosedale, Saturday Fully twenty-five hundred people were present. Speeches were made by Major W. W. Carter, Hon, John G. Craln and Capt. The processions from the surrounding country came in with music, banners, Sags and oiottoesi Although the meeting was of the modt.enthusiastic character, its orderly character was in marked contrast with the Voorhees meeting held near that placd A! short time since. The Republican ladies df Rosedale entertained the -risitors from this city and other places in the most hospitable manner, for which they will be kindly remembered. Differences.—There

are many constitutions so inherently de fective in energy as to derive groat bene fit from a moderato use ef pure liquor combined with such vegetable medicines and extracts as enter into tho composition of Roback's Stomach Bitters, and there are many situations in which even the healthiest derive additional security from its accasio&al use. •1

If healthy persons Arfe exposed to unusuai and continued exertion in confined air, or under the heat of thesun, or to the influence of depressing watchfulaess by traveling, and change of diet and wafer, or if residents of malarious districts or the rank river bottoms of the West aad South, there can be no doubt but a care fui use of Setback's Stomach Bitters with the food would surely be the meass of warding off actual disease A&£ enabling them to bear up unaffected where, With out the Bitters, they would likely have to succumb the disease. They strengthen, tone and invigorate, aid digestion and increase the appetite. seU-dwlm
