He was picked up by tho police, apparently aaad, and as nothing on his person gave any clue to hia identity, ho was conveyed to Bellevue Hospital. By careful nursing and skillfal surgery he was eventually resuscitated, when his injuries were found to be of a Eerious, though it is hoped not a fatal character. Mr. McDonald was in New York on business connected with the extension of tho Evansville & Crawfordsvllie Railroad.
