LATEST IMPROVEMENT.
Noyo's Improved Portable Grist Mill. PT1HE subscriber has completed and tested his Improved I fortable Grist Mill, for which he has npplied for betters Patent. He is now prepared to furnish to order a superior mill for grinding wheat and COARSE GRAINS. The mode of attnchlng the Runner Stone to the Spindle, togetlf er witli tlie improved feeding attachment, secures a high motion to the stone, wilh perfect safety even to a THOUSAND REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE, The subscriber claims that he has invented and attached to this Mill valuable improvements, which make it superior to all others now in use. And further he has no hesitation in guarantying it to grind wheat or coarse grains as rapidly, and at the same time doing as good work, WITH LESS LOSS or rowsR ar ratcTiox, than any other Portable Mill now in operation. These mills are of (he best quality of French Burr Stones, and are from 20 to 24, 30, 32, and 36 inches in diameter. They are placed In a substantial frame or husk and are driven by a belt with steam, water, or horsepower, and are WARRANTED to perform perfectly in every particular. JOHN T. NOYE.

THE COST OF GOING TO HOUSEKEEPING. 'T1HE subscriber having determined to put his prices at -L the lowest remunerative point in view of increasing his sales, has no hesitation in showiug his list of prices to his customers, assuring them (which is almost needless,) that fpr the quality of article presented, the price is marked down to the lowest possible rate. Other articles maf and doubtless will be offered for less price, bearing the same shape and name, but unless with a view of making up the difference, the article cannot be of the same quality. Having my line of importation and aMnnfactnre now fully complete, no other establishment CAN honestly undersell me. As my profits will necessarily be small,! cannot afford to run any risk whatever in cradits, therefore the cash will be expected on the delivery of the goods.
In specifying my prices so closely, I am determined to hold to my usual rule of selling only articles of the best quality.
An inferior Class of goods would look cheaper on paper, but a year'jtMc would show the difference in favor of the beet.-
A rnle adopted In thlsr Establishment four yean since will be strictly adhered to-that of naming the lowest price, end strictly adhering to that price. I refer to list to show what can be done towards hoase keeping for $30.
The following list of articles, of good quality, whieh are all requisite in going to bouse keeping may be tuKl for thirty dollars, or any part at proportionate rates: 1 Kitchen Shovel and Tongs^2 Painted Pails, 1 Tinned Iron Saccepan,

Dr. Ayer: In tho month of July last 1 was attacked ly a violent diarrhoea in the miues of California. 1 returned to San Frahcteco in hope of receiving benefit from a change of climate and diet. My diarrluca ceased, bnt was followed by a severe cough—and much soreness. I filially started for home, but received no benefit from the voyage. My cough contlued to grow worse, and when I arrived in New York, I was at once marked by my acquaintances as victim %f consumption. 1 must confess that 1 saw no sufficient reason to doubt what my friends nil believed.-— At this time I commenced taking your truly iuvalunble medicine with little expectation of deriving any benefit from its use* You would not receive these lines did I not regard it my duty to state to tlie afflicted, throngh you, that my health, in the space of eight months, is fully restored. I attribute it to tlie use of your CHERRY PECTORAL.
