1HIS article ia the reault of the application of acieutlfic nrlnclples mm ai pottibi quantity of Ice.

The proprietor halt long devoted hi* attention to this particular branch of doineatic economy, and panlng from one improvement to another, has at length arrived aa near perfection aa it Is possible to reach. A proof of this Is found in the very general use of theae Cooler* in all parta of the couutry. A better proof of the some fact I*, that, alnco their Introduction, varlou* imitation*of the genuine article have been attempted—all falling short of the object, It I* true, jet all proving clearly which w&y the tide of popular opinion is setting.

A simple statement of fact*, In regard to these Cooler*, will satisfy every one of their superiority. First, they are the only article of the kind ever patented. They are furnished with two distinct non-conducting,chamber*, by nieanaof whiph, with two pound* of Ice lo the gallon, water I* kept (at a temperature of 40 deg. below zero, or only 8 deg. above the freezing point) all day. Thu*, at cost of aoms Ave cent* per day, a family of ordinary else can be conatantly supplied with water a* cold an ice Itaelf larger number* lu the *aine proportion. Thi* ha* been found by nctuul experiment to be a nuviug of at loiuit seventy-livo per cent, oven the Earthen Jar*, formerly used for thia purpos*.

Again, theae Cooler* never Sweat in this way, saving much unneccsaary waste and trouble. Being manufactured in the mo*l workmanlike ntyle, and handsomely finished in every respect, they mttke a very beautiful ornament for the Dluliig Room, Hotel or Steam Boat.

An Important Improvement ha* lately been added to the Cooler, viz: A *mall Pan (capable of holding from six to eight pound* of -bullor) inaerlod dlrectlv under the cover. Thi* quautlty of butter can be kept perfectly hard nil day, without additional ice—a very important addition to the economy aud comfort of families.

If desired, the Cooler can also be furniiihed at a amail expense with a Filtering Apparatun, made and for *nle at BURNET'S House Furnishing Establishment,
