fr«m Wool-growim, am1 this may be necounted for mainly from the fact, that, as a class, Wool-srrow-ers have been more ensily influenced and misled than the former, fy the statements of a few operators who are wholly opposed to all efforts having for their object tht* systematizing of the wool trade or the enhancement of prices to the producer.

The past year, rhHrncterized as it baa been by the most disastrous financial i*mbarra?sfpen's, has been one of the ino-t unfortunate for negotiating and managing sales of wool, and the fact that the enterprise has .been re marktifc^y successfully, not withstanding tlu se disadvantages, and given almost universal' satisfaction to consignors, should we think, inspire sufllrient confidence to induce large consignments Irom wool-growers.

To those who have been prejudiced bv false ru mors, and who have manifested a want of con6 dcnce we have frequently made advancee equal to the price tliey have been offered for their wool.*Such advances, however, vhould not be required as the enterprise W is started for their bent-fit, and this object has stendily kept in view, and we ipt the encouragement will be such as to »blc ns to contintfc our efforts.
