The machine and apparatus, with fuel and watar, weigh only about seven tons, and by the u»e of a drum or barrelshaped driver, for propelling the locomotive, the difficulty of miring in soft soil, and slipping on hard, smooth ground, i* uvorcome. The steam plow is cattily managed, and is described a* a cross between a locomotive and a tcmlar, combining the enftttiiti 1 elements of both, mounted on two guiding wheels and a huge roller.
