JtSfA Convention ol the soldiers of the war of 1812-l-t, was hold last Friday, in tit* Supremo Court room, In the Capitol. The proceedings were interesting. Kilby Furgason, Esq., who had called the Con'«t ion at the request of several of the old ldiers residing in different parts of the State, read several letters from veterans of the war of 1812, who were nnable to be ].resent, but who sympatized with the aims and object of the convention. Among V,cse documents was the form of a memorial from L. C. Chamberlain, of Milton, n«kinft Congress for legislation on the subject of aid to the soldiers of 1812,
