The examination of the witness being resumed he stated that Bob Mellvill was a person «ith whom h: becamb* acquainted in St. Louis, and that ho was an agent of the Mississippi lilroad tint ho knew Mott and Diok Jones in St. Loills, and that the former wat3 also a Railroad agent.
