Market Hottaea.

There appears to bo a disposition on the part of (he authorities of many cftie* to abolished the whole market tystcrn. The city of Marietta, Ohio, has abolished it, and several of the Eastern cities have long sitico done the name thing. The truth of the matter is I his—when the present system of marketing iu looked at in a proper light, it docs seem to be a cofpptat hambug. It is a tax tipon the citizens without profit—it is a hetfty tax upon the producer, and of not die ieftMt convenience to the buyer, nt any shape or form- Why it is continued when we know these things to be coi ?ct, and jutl to, is a mystery to us. From this day hencs we are in favor of abolishing our niar-ket system, entire, anil tve t«r ill endeavor to make tliis the ishUo at the next city election. Think seriously of the matter, gentlemen, it ifl worthy of the attention of all, for there ii^no one who is not intore.sted in the change.

L«»t the entire market system into 1 he hands of the Grocer—it i*lm legitimate buMtness. It will give a more general satisfaction to the producer, as he can dispose of his produce in ten fifteen roiunh** after arriving in the «*ity, and thereby save time and money in not being cniripelled to remain over night. Would not this be fnr better fur hint? 11 admit* of no denijl.

If this change can bo perfected in Tcrre-IIaute, lot the Market Houses be sold, and tin* proceeds go towards building a fino Engine house upon each lot. By dniug this, wo will fiad more general satisfaction prevailing t'.ian at present, upon thk matter, and besides it will bring us up with the *W

ANX ASSOR, Nor. 6, 1866

Paor. O. J. Woow—Dear 81r: I have heard much said of the wonderful effects of your flair Rcstoratlre, bat having been so often ebeatod by qnackery and quack nostrums, hsSrdyes, See., I was disposed to place your Restorative in the same catagorv with the thousand and one loudly trumpeted quack remedies, until 11 met you in Lawrence county some months siifCe, when yon gave me such assurance as Induced the trial of yonr Restorative in my fami !v—first by n»y good wife, whose hair had hecome very thin awl entirely white, and btfbre exhausting one of your large bottles, her hair was restored neicrly to Its original beautiful brown color, and hud thickened nnd become beautiful and glossy upon, and entirely over the head she continues to use it, not simply because of its beautifying effects upon the

hair, but because of its healthful influence upon the head and mind. Others of my family and friends are using your ffestoratire, with the happiest cfTertaf therefore, my Skepticism and doubts In reference to its character and value are entirely removed and I can and do most cordially and confidentially reeommend its use by all who would have their hair restored frow white or gray (by reason of sick nessor age,) to ot£$n.t1 color and beauty, and by all yotmg peraons who would have their hair beaut!
