LO.—Jt is reported

that the re-org*nisation committee of the Missouri, Kansas it Texas is casting about for a new president and that Wm. Rockefeller may take it because of his large interest in the property. The Central Trust Company of thia city holds control of the property. It holds about 400,000 shares of common stock and votee on proxy for the preferred. If Rockefeller is made president of the road it will place it on a footing that it has never before known. Rochefeller's holdings of Union Pacific stock and bis cloee intimacy and friendship with Jay Gould will put the M. K. & T. on good terms with the Missouri Pacific and the Gould southwestern line# and do much towards making it one of the best paying pieces of property in the southwest.
