Dr. Maddux is of the opinion that this may have had something to dp with bringing on the mania with which he said Mr. Ford suffered.

Death from Hydrophobia
The Baltimore Sun of the 10th says* Mr. Charles T.Ford, who was attacked on Wednesday last with hydrophobia, died yesterday at his residence,No.212 Conway street about quarter past 1 clock The condition favorable on Sunday, day night, about 11 o'clock, he was •violently attacked with a spasm, and it became necessary to tie him down in the bed. He contiuued to grow worse

On Friday a consultation took place at the house of Mr. Ford, between Professor Smith, of this city," Dr. Smith, of the county, Professor Miles, Dr. Maddux, Drs.Baltzell and Wilhelm,the two latter his attending physicians, and all of the doctors except Dr. Maddux, concluded that Mr. Ford was suffering from jhobia. Dr. Maddux, however, that the symptoms were 6i hydrophobia. He contended that the unfortunate man was afflicted with acute maula, or what he termed "spuriio&s hydrophobia." Mr. Ford
