Alleged Murderers Discharged. The Clay county men who were arrested aud lodged in Vigo county jail, a few days since, on a charge of murdering Dr. Morgan Williams, were discharged from custody yesterday, after a careful examination into the merits of the case by the Grand Jury." It appears from what we can learn of the evidence before that body, that the accused were fired at by "Williams before they did any shooting and that then and not until then did they open fire at him, with the disastrous and fatal results wnich sent Morgan Williams to his final accounts. A STRIKING EVIDENCE of the advance of science and civilization in our country is the prompt and decisive steps takeu in large cities to prepare for ^lie expected and almost certaincoming of the cholera. But a few years ago the only efforts made to escape its ravages, was by all who were able, taking safety in flight, leaving thdfee who were too poor to leave, to care for themselves as best they could. When it did come, the result was fearful, and its victims were numbered by thousands. Now, however, the matter is left in the hands of the authorities, and the people rest in perfect confidence that all is right.
In our section of country disease makes its appearance each and every year, and no efforts of our authorities can arrest its progress. The seeds of malaria are planted in its unhappy victims and bring forth abundant fruit, ague in cve^y shape (billiousness, torpid liver, headache, chills and fever, intermittent fever) appears, and thousands suffer for months, until the appearance of frost, when the cause being removed, the effect at once ceases. Barr's Ague Medicine will remove the cause from the system as certainly as frost, and may be obtained now at every drug store in the land.
