INDISPOSITION OK -M'UM NJLSSON.—At it.e conclusion of the emertainment at the Academy of Music, Monday cvenuiir, ihe indisposition from which Miss Xiisson had been sutlering for sevend day.s, again assumed a more serious character, i.ecessi taiim? the post])oneinent of the engagement at i'crre llaute. IT will be recollected that in our notice of (he concert, mention was made of the illness, from the effect of which she had not. entirely recovered, and aseribimr to that fact certain drawback., in the merits of liersoncs. At the hour of writing, however, we hid little idea of the severity of the attack or of the spirit requir.il to. make an appearance at all. From what has since transpired we are satisfied that had MissNilsson consulted her own feelings in the matter she would not have come upon the stage at all, but with her well-known determination never to disappoint an audience when it is a physical possibility to do otherwise, she went through her allotted part, though fortunately thee.'ec sar not likely to more than temporarily interfere with her engagements.

At a late hour last evening Miss Nilsson ul somewhat recovered from her indisposition—an affection of the throat—and the troupe wiil start for Cincinnati this morning, to till a three nights, engagement in that city. On Monday or Tuesday they will return here en route for Terre Haute, where the disappointed citizens of that place wiil be made happj'—wo hops this time without fail. ANCTMT::! DAIIIXO BUEGLAHY was. perpetrated last night, this time on Mr. George W. Sheerer, an engineer on the 10. & "C. Railroad, who resides out on Thirteenth street and Bloomiagton Boad. Some time d' ring the night, the house was entered'"from a window by one or more thieve?, who proceeded to the room occupied by Mr. Shearer and wile, and overhauled it in a most effectual manner, :i lug ail the books from ihe bureau and sisMiing them to make them yield up imaginary hidden treasure*, and iinaily opening tiie drawers, gave them a thorough shaking up, and abstracting therefrom lifty dollars in money, and succeeded in making good their escape without awakening tiie sleepers, who were snoring away in unconscious bliss of all tbat was transpiring under their very noses.

One remarkable circumstance connected with the burglary is'that there was quantity of silver spoons in close proximity to the money which the rascals iefC undisturbed. It is presumed that every burglar in this city has seme especial l.rarich of (he profession and it is more than likely that this money thief will send a sp thief around to Mr. Shearer's to secu.ru the silver spoons he disc overc. 1. Who knows? Mr. S. will consult his interest by consulting a gunsmith.
