The Christinas tree at the M. E. Church on Friday evening will be a
Bect-li <«rove. On last Thursday there assembled at the residence of Mr. A. J. Kuark, a large and merry gathering of friends neighbors and relatives, to witness the marriage of his daughter, Miss Flora E. Ruark to Mr. J. W. Bunten. At five o’clock the happy couple appeared upon the floor attended by Mr. John Chirk and Mias Laura Kuark. The bride looked charming and the groom imposing, while the attendants performed their part in an easy and graceful manner. The ceremony was pronounced by Itev. Mr. Sherrill in an impressive manner, and the bounteous supper which followed was all that could he desired. The good wishes of a host of friends go with the happy couple, and it is the wish of all that their lives he as happy as was theoccasion of their wodding 'Squire J. H. Coleman presides at our literary society with all the dignity of a U. S. Senator .
