Mr. Ivan Proctor was taken to the Putnam County H <spital Saturday night for observation and treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Chanucey Sutherlin of Roachdale spent Sunday afternoon with his sister, Mrs. Arthur Weller. Mrs. Donavon Shoaf and Mr. and Mrs. John Smith were in Indianapolis all day Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hoke were Sunday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Purcell. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Grimes have gone to Sebring, Florida,
where they spend their winters. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gosnell were weekend guests of Mrs. Bessie Gosnell and daughter, Mrs. Elsie Chadwick of Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Gosnell are preparing to move to their new home in Newman, 111., after the first of January. Miss Donna Huffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Walter Huffman is ill at her home this week with the chicken pox. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Tillotson and family and Mr. and Mrs, Duane Burk and family were among the guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Malcom Burk and family of Greencastle to celebrate the birthday of Mrs. Malcolm Burk. Little Deanna Anderson of Crawfordsville is spending this week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clark, while her parents are moving to a new home in Crawfordsville. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Boswell have sold their house to Cecil Pearson and have moved to the Albert Whitehead farm west of town. Mr. Pearson will move in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Etcheson visited Sunday afternoon with his cousin, Mrs. Allie Sparks and husband in Bloomington, Indiana. Mrs. Charles Amers enter-
