DEAR HELOISK: I'm a minister's wife and. of course, it is very important that my husband look nice before his congregation every Sunday. I’ve discovered a real neat way to keep the lapels and collar of his suitcoats from getting creased while hanging in our crowded closet. Before I hang them in the closet, I turn the lapels up. fold them over and pin them together with a straight pin. This eliminates having crtutxed lapels. When he’s ready to wear it, I just take out the pin. turn back the lapels and the collar and it looks like the suit just came from the cleaners. My husband thinks 1 am the ’’mostest” for coming up with this idea and said. "Why don’t you share your hint with others?” Minister’s Wife * * * And, Shug, we agree with your hiishand. Bless you both for sharing with us. dress or shirt on a covered hanger, then place a piece of plastic (part of a cleaning bag will doi under the collar with a little allowance so the collar doesn’t touch the rest of the garment. Then pin the plastic together with a plastic clothespin. Presto! No bleeding on my nice white collar. Joyce Van Cleet * * * DEAR HELOISE: I lead the tip about making a substitute colander by punching holes in an aluminum throw-away pie plate. I purchased one of the piepacked popcorn poppers which is like an aluminum pie plate with a handle. After the corn had been popped. I punched a Continued on Page 3
