DKAR HKLOIKK: If you are going to muk<your own bedspread out of some really beautiful material . . . go all out and buy more than you need for the spread. When I finished the spread. I literally “papered" the wall behind the bed with a strip of niatehing material. My strip was the width of the bed and ran from behind the headboard to the ceiling. 1 didn't really paste it t< the wall. I stretched it tight and tacked it around Unedges. Then I framed the material (hiding the tacks> with wooden molding 1 bought at a lumber yard. My material was royal purple. So for a striking contrast. I bought some brass oriental wall plaques and hung them in steps across the material. Really terrific for a little cost.
When my ex - -.erva email husband walk<d in. he said he thought he was back in tinFar Fast. I wonder what he is going to say when I have him build a valance acioss the top o! the wall strip and I hang narrow red curtains down each side ?
