Roachdale seemed to be the center of attraction from here over the fourth of July holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Long have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Carl Borden. Hobert Knowling, who is stationed in Camp Campbell, was home a few days the last of the week. David Baird drove him back to camp, Sunday. Mrs. Audrey Hammond and Sharon visited Mrs. Joe Brothers and children Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Mary Virginia Clodfelter and Mrs. Maude Brothers visited Mrs. Bertha Clodfelter in Russellville Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sutherlin, New Jersey, were honored guests of the Brothers family

at a picnic supper at the Clodfelter pond Sunday evening. Those present were Mrs. Hazel Sutherlin, Mrs. Catherine Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kelly and family, Mrs. Laura Fosher, Mrs. Maude Brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Damon Lawrence and sons, Stuart and Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brothers and children, Mrs. Mary Virginia Clodfelter, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Clodfelter and children and Mr. and Mrs. James Carroll. Mr. and Mrs. Sutherlin have been house guests of Mrs. Hazel Sutherlin the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Werner Strelow were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Sessions over the holidays.
