Campaigns for Kennedy in Ind. FORT WAYNE, Ind. (UPI)— Franklin D. Roosevelt Jr. claimed Wednesday that Gov. Roger D. Branigin has “perpetrated the greatest fraud in the history of the Democratic Party on the people of Indiana.” Roosevelt is campaigning for Sen. Robert F. Kennedy in the three-way presidential prefer, ence primary next Tuesday in which Branigin also is a candidate. Roosevelt scoffed at Branigin’s insistence he is running to keep the state’s national convention delegates from being committed when they go to Chicago in August. “He is trying to run for vice president and every history student knows that nomination is decided by the presidential nominee. Branigin is not even known in political circles outside Indiana,” Roosevelt said.
