Robert Bridges Robert Bridges, 58, a barber in Greensburg and formerly of Greeneastle, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening at Memorial

He owned and operated a barber shop in Indianapolis after I leaving Greeneastle. He was united in marriage, in Greeneastle, December 15, 1943, to Ethel Templeman of Greeneastle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, at the G. H. Porter and Sons Funeral | Home at Greensburg.

Craft Club holds regular meeting The Cloverdale Craft Club held its regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Ellis Yanders with all members attending. Two members had been in the hospital since the last meeting but were able to attend. Various articles were displayed and the afternoon was spent in making aprons. Delicious buffet refreshments were served by the hostess. The next meeting will be a luncheon at the home of Mrs. Robert Wilson.

News of servicemen USS KLONDIKE — Electrician’s Alate Second Class Charles L. Etter, USN, son of Mr. and Airs. Robert L. Etter of 505 E. Hanna St., Greeneastle, has returned to San Diego, California, aboard the repair ship USS Klondike following a seven month deployment off the coast of Vietnam. WTiile off Vietnam the Klondike served as a unit of the U S. Seventh Fleet. Its mission was furnish repair services and logistics support to ships of the Seventh Fleet. The Klondike is a floating shipyard whose principle advantage Is mobility. With this mobility the repair ship also services ships in Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; and Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines.
