breught his team to within five, 69-64. Kris Phillips and Jack Miller quickly took care of things for the Cards as they both deposited three point plays and Fillmore jumped back into an eleven point lead. The Cards used a full court press during most of the performance and Russellville stayed into a zone defensive until final quarter when the Cards' lead forced them to press. Fillmore tucked away 32 of 69 field goals and 18 of 25 free throws while Russellville managed to hit 27 of 71 and 17 of 29. Errors strangely enough went to Fillmore, 15-12. Four of the Fillmore players boomed into the double figure column with hot-shot Jack Miller donating 23 points. Dave Walton scored 16, Daryl Williamson had 15, and Kris Phillips had 11. Kim Miller was the only Russellville player to get into the double figure column in scoring besides Simpson and he fired in 15 points. North Salem comes to town tonight against Roachdale's Hawks at 7:30 in the second round of competition. Then action moves to Saturday afternoon where Greencastle faces Cascade and Fillmore takes on the winner of tonight's game.
