Tonight at 8 p.m. is BIS night for DePauw University’s resurgent Tigers. That’s the night Indiana State’s nationally ranked Sycamores move into Bowman Gymnasium for a critical ICC showdown. By Youth Agont JERRY WILIIAM6 is«IPI This coming week will be a rather busy week for some of the 4-H members in Putnam County. The 4-H Horse & Pony members will meet this coming Monday, February 6, 7:30 p.m. at the 4-H Building in the Fairgrounds. An interesting program is planned and I would encourage all boys and girls who are interested in horses or ponies to attend this meeting. Enrollment is still open for the Horse & Pony Club and a member can join by attending the meeting and filling out the enrollment cards. Barry Grimes is the “indoor” leader for the club and Bill Gray is the leader for the outside meetings. The Horse & Pony Club operates with indoor meetings, where the demonstrations and the programs are given, plus the conducting of the business; and the outside meetings are used as workshops to instruct members how to ride their horses.

It looked like the Eels might get revenge when they went into a third period lead, 30-26, after the host Cubs had led them for the entire first half, hut Greencastle came back with a 16-point fourth period and won the contest. The Cubs called on a full court press in the final stanza and held Eminence to 5 points. They took the lead with 2:15 gone in the period and breezed on to win without a game error. They committed 8 errors in the previous three quarters. Three players did most of the scoring for the Cubs. Clark had 11, Swearingen 10, and Luzar 9 points. Pruitt and St. John both scored 10 for
