Miss Linda Hendrich became the bride of Ronnie Blotch Saturday, Sept. 2, at Gobin Memorial Church in Greencastle, rather than Dale Newman as stated in last week's items. Mr. and Mrs. Hershell Scobee spent the weekend at Rochester, Mich., where he represents this district Lions Club organization at the Leader Dog School. They visited Saturday morning with Mr. and Mrs. Yeoman Belong in Imlay City. The two gentlemen had been together while serving in the armed forces, but hadn't met since 1944. Miss Susie Scobee spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Whitney. Danny and Lisa Scobee spent the weekend visiting Mr. and j Mrs. Ezra Arnold. Mr. and Mrs. Venice F. Lewis visited Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Smith and attended the Fillmore Volunteer Fireman’s barbucue. They later called on Mr. and Mrs. Cleo

Mesdames Herman Day, Ruth Smith and Charles Smith along with the Rev. John McFraland represented the Fillmore Methodist Church Friday at the subdistrict W.S.C.S. meeting at Reelsville. Mrs. McFarland gave a portion of the program. Friends here are sorry to hear that Judge Robert Stewart of Brazil has been 111 and entered the Brazil hospital on Sept. 7 for observation. Mrs. Daisy Youngerman is at the home of her son, Richard Lineberry, at Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Lineberry has been ill several days. Recent callers on Mrs. Ida Day and Charley were Herbert Graver and Howard Frederick, both of Greencastle, and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Arnold and daughter.
