9 nursing homes denied licenses INDIANAPOLIS UPI — The Indiana Health Facilities Council, an agency of the State Board of Health, Wednesday denied licenses to nine nursing homes. The council denied licenses for Armstrong’s Park View Rest Home, Peru; Barkley Nursing Home, Butler; Gosport Nursing Home, Gosport; P o s s m a n Boarding Home for Children, Arcadia; Floyd County Home, New Albany; Cozy Comer Nursing Home, Chesterfield; Waterford Nursing Home, Michigan City; Hotel Nursing Home, Francisco, and Huff Sanitarium, Indianapolis. The council relicensed 147 other homes, issued five new license and authorized hearings for two homes charged with operating without permits. The two were Indiana Rest Home, Jasper, and Opal Payne, Indianapolis.
