INDIANAPOLIS UPI — The Indianapolis Indians moved two games above the .500 mark in the eastern division of the Pacific Coast League by defeating Tacoma, 8-4 Wednesday night Bob Sadowski banged out a single, double and triple to pace the Tribe’s attack on three Cub hurlers. Buddy Bradford highlighted a four-run outburst in the fifth inning with a two-run homer.

Clarence Jones belted a threerun homer for Tacoma in the eighth. Steve Jonee, the first of two Tribe pitchers, was credited with the victory, although he needed help in the eighth from Don Dennis. Bill Conners, the first Tacoma tosser, was the loser. The Indians advanced their season record to 32-30.
