—Bainbridge News two brand new babies — a Palomino filly from their white mare. Fawn, and a buckskin liorse colt from their little Arab
mare, Queen.

Rue McCollough has a graylike filly from their Appaloosa mare, Cha-Cha. She’s about two months old now and her mime is Mako Shark II. 3Iy Mare, Pal, has a new little Palomino filly. I think she’s kind of special. After all. Pal is the mare my Dad got for my *lster and me fourteen years ago. She has not had a foal for j
at least 15 years, and now, at the age of 22 or 23, she is a mama again. With one year in horses equal to three in a human, My Pal is accordingly almost 70 years old. Happy news was followed by a tragedy. The Perkins family lost their beautiful little palomino pony. Dawn, recently. Anita and some friends were riding at night and Dawn was hit by a car. Her leg was broken. Fortunately, none of the riders
were injured.
Our next meeting will be June 10 — clean-up, fix-up day at the grounds, followed by a sandwich supper before the business
meeting. Bill and Donna Gray have a movie, “Ride, Cowboy, Ride,” to show. Morris and Geneve are giving a door prize for that meeting. Everyone come out and bring sandwiches and pie for supper. Work all day, camp all night, and be ready for the show Sunday. Spread the word and let’s have a real turnout for the meeting and show. Bring a friend or two and don’t forget your chairs. We’ll see you there.
