Bache & Co. believes the market will probably back and fill with no clear-cut trend for the time being. It does “detect an undercurrent of enthusiasm” which will probably persist in certain situations and justify a selective investment approach to the list.

After Linda Robins led the pledge to the flag, and Marcia Carpenter directed the 4-H pledge, Susan Robertson and Becky Elliot led the singing. After the minutes were approved, roll call was answered by the member’s favorite holiday. Shelly Jones reported on health and safety and the Jr. Homemakers gave a demonstration on measuring. Afterwards Holly Knights and Sherrie Walton was in charge of the play period. Refreshments were served by Marcia Carpenter and Teresa Pierce. The next meeting will be May 29.
