Cubs 4th In Sectional Meet At Terre Haute Five Greencastle High School track stars will be going to Seymour for the IHSAA track regional next Saturday. Participating in the sectional at Terre Haute yesterday, the Tiger Cubs finished fourth in the team standings behind surprise winner Schulte and favorite Wiley. Schulte scored 29 points, Wiley, 24; Gerstmeyer, 22: and Greencastle 20. Pete Norris was the first Cub to qualify for the regionals when he finished fourth in the 120-yard high hurdles finals. Jim Craig was the final Cub individual winner as he chased Gerstmeyer’s Steve McDaniel all the way in the 440 to finish second to the Terre Haute ace. Kevin See, Dave Boswell, Jim Craig, and Pete Norris, running in the mile relay event, edged a fine Wiley team to grab first place in the good time of 3:31.7.
