7-3.
DePauw s second pitcher, Dick Walker, picked up the victory, DePauw’s seventh in 17 games. Walker came in in the third after starter Bill Keadey was injured in a base-path collision. Walker too left the game in the sixth when he hurt himself sliding into second base. During Walker's three inning tenure Tiger bats lifted DePauw out of a 2-1 deficit that stood until a three-run DePauw fifth inning.
