The 4th Quarterly Conference •rill be Friday, 7:30, at the Amo Methodist Church. At 7:00 the District Superintendent will meet with the Pastoral Relations Committee. The Coatesvilie M.E. Church Is reserved for Easter Sunday afternoon for a wedding that Will take place at 2:00 p.m. Lee Sechman of Broad Park was in town this week speaking with many acquaintances on the street. Lee has a big voice and a big handshake. It Is good to see a friendly fellow like him.

The funeral of Harry Parr of Stilesville was held at the Weaver Funeral Parlor Sunday afternoon at 2:00. Burial was at Stilesville.

Man's Best Friend ! DENVER UPI —Patrolman Bob Kenne thought his German shepherd police dog, Rick, had gone AWOL Monday so the officer drove to work without him-by car. The dog was found a few hours later, sitting in the back of the pickup truck that Kenne usually drove to work.

The Canasta Club enjoyed Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Ruth Brothers in her home in Roachdale. Mrs. Bea Beams attended a Prayer Group meeting Thursday morning in the home of Mrs. Leonard Witt in Roachdale. More congratulations goes to the Bainbridge basketball team

for their success in Frankfort Saturday and wishes go out for their continued success. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Borden were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lang in St Louis. Mr. Lang underwent surgery last week. Jimmie Mandleco talked to his family from Vietnam Saturday evening.

Sunday evening, Mre. Bea Beams and family attended church at the Roachdale Baptist Church and enjoyed a tea afterward honoring the 25th wedding anniversary of Rev. and Mrs. Homer Cochran. The Joe Brothers family have had the flu the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Baird and family and Mrs. Nova Routh, and Sandy Rediver were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Olive Baird and sons. Mrs. John Harless and children John and Jane and David and Ann Corley have been recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Meyers.

Mrs. Mary Virginia Clodfelter spent Friday afternoon with her daughter, Mrs. James CarroU. Doug, Jeanna, Rita and Chet Clodfelter and Doug Reed stayed with Mrs. Mary Virginia Clodfelter while their parents attended the tourney in Frankfort Saturday and Saturday night Leslie Stewart who was released from the Union Hospital Friday was taken worse and admitted to the Putnam County Hospital Saturday. Jack Mendenhall of Greeneastle shopped in Greenwood Shopping Center Friday. Paul Shillings planned a surprise dinner in honor of Mrs. Shillings Sunday. Those present were Paul Leroy Shillings and family and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Ward and family of Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas and family and Mir. and Mrs. John Baker and family of Indianapolis. Miss Caroline Shillings of Bainbridge spent Saturday night with her parents.
