Swingers Feb. 18 On Saturday, Feb. 18th, The Moderne’ Swingers square dance club held their regular club dance. Virgil Ames of Indianapolis, called a really great one. Lots of action, lots of hash

and lots of fun for all.

The Modeme’s Swingers were honored with many clubs. The Skirts and Shirts of Indianapolis carried away the clubs' busy banner. Other clubs present were Merri-Macs, Covered Bridge Squares, and Laughing Squares. Many other visitors attended from Indianapolis. North Salem, Noblesville, Danville, Bridgeton, Bainbridge and

Rockville.

The food was at its best with sandwiches, relish plates, cakes, cookies, rolls, chips and snacks.

XMV WVfWVA LUC social hour with all that good food. Lessons began last Sunday. The club was well pleased with the turn out of interested people. The lessons will be on Sunday at the 4-H building here in Greencastle, for the next 12 weeks. Ted Laughrey of Terre Haute will teach the classes. Mr. Laughrey is also the Moderne’ Swingers Club caller. The club officers feel that the members have done a wonderful job promoting square dancing in the month of February. This club’s next dance will be March 4th. Ted Laughrey will call. This will be held at the 4-H building here in Greencastle. Everyone is welcome. If you just want to watch, you may do that at no charge. The club members wish Mrs. Marjaret Edge]! a speedy recovery and lots of luck. The members are glad to see Mrs. Betty Williams up and around again, and hope to see her dancing again before long.
